Sioux Falls man arrested for aggravated assault Friday

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man was arrested for threatening to stab someone at a business early Friday morning.

According to Sioux Falls Police Sgt. Aaron Benson, around 12:30 a.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to a business near 41st Street and Interstate 29 for a weapons violation. The initial report was that a man had a knife and was threatening to stab people.

Investigators spoke to the caller, who was an employee of the business, and reported that a man came into the building and started walking down a hallway. The employee told him to leave the premises and started walking the man outside the business. The man then pulled out a knife and was threatening to stab the employee. The employee then went back inside the building and called the police…
