Police: 2 injured in downtown Seattle knife attack

SEATTLE — Police are searching for a suspect after officers said a knife attack injured two people in downtown Seattle Saturday afternoon.

Officers responded just after 1 p.m. to the 200 block of Yesler Way for reports of a man cutting a woman’s arm with a knife, according to Seattle police.

Police said they found a 41-year-old woman with a significant laceration to her arm and a 37-year-old man with a laceration to his forehead. Police said the man was hurt while trying to defend the woman…
