Gilbert’s first review of applications for a town manager has yielded a pool of more than 30 applicants from across the country, officials said last week.
The town is seeking a replacement for Patrick Banger, who had been with Gilbert for nearly 15 years before leaving to become Glendale’s city manager.
The town last fall chose Georgia-based Slavin Management Consultants, an executive search firm, to lead the search. The town also selected Assistant Town Manager Dawn Prince to serve as the interim town manager until the national search has been completed…
