MAYFIELD — State Police have accused a Schenectady man of waving and pointing an imitation pistol at vehicles while driving intoxicated Wednesday evening in western Montgomery County.
Troopers responded at 6:13 p.m. to a report of a driver displaying what appeared to be a handgun out of a car window while traveling east on Interstate 90 in the town of Minden, according to a news release from State police.
Police located the vehicle allegedly involved in the incident and pulled over the 51-year-old driver. Troopers said an investigation determined the man had been passing other eastbound vehicles and allegedly pointing a Byrna SD imitation pistol capable of firing pepper balls and kinetic projectiles out of his window…
