The sounds of pipes and drums filled the air, and there was a chilly wind. Cabers and sheafs were tossed. Hammers were thrown. Flings were danced. Haggis was eaten. Just another festival day in the Scottish Highlands… and in Cayce at the 14th annual Tartan Day South.
The four-day festival began with live music events Thursday and Friday nights, and culminated Saturday. It concludes Sunday at 11 a.m. with the free Kirkin’ of the Tartans at West Columbia’s Riverwalk Amphitheater.
