Cleveland Police need help identifying driver in deadly hit-and-run crash involving electric scooter

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for help identifying a suspect in a deadly hit-and-run crash earlier in March in Tremont.

According to a release from Cleveland Police, at around 10:46 p.m. on March 9, a black or dark-colored car hit a person traveling southbound on West 14th Street and Fairfield riding an electric scooter.

The car struck the scooter from behind and continued southbound on West 14th Street without stopping.

Police said the victim had multiple fractures and internal injuries…
