EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The West Side Nut Club is bringing back its 79th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28th at Mater Dei High School.
Thousands of families are expected to join the event. This is known for being the largest and fastest Easter Egg hunt in the Tri-State. Nearly 16,000 Easter eggs will be prepared by the West Side Nut Club, filled with candy and special prize tags.
Lucky participants may win local gift certificates, candy baskets, and stuffed animals. In addition to the egg hunt, families can take photos with popular characters such as Barney, Shrek, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Big Bird, and the Easter Bunny.
The event is open to children in pre-school, kindergarten, and 1st through 3rd grade. The Easter Egg hunt will start at 1:00 p.m. Central Time and is expected to finish in under one minute.
