FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The National Weather Service confirmed this afternoon that an EF-0 tornado touched down in Banquo, Huntington County, shortly after 7 pm last night and traveled for a mile and a half before dissipating. Another storm survey will be completed tomorrow, the 28th, near La Fontaine, where it is suspected a second tornado might have touched down.
As for Saturday, expect opposite conditions to Thursday in almost every way: chilly with highs in the 40s, no storms, and light wind! Sunday will be a bit breezier (20-30 mph) and warmer with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s…
