Warm for now, Sunday March 29th forecast

Another very warm day inland with afternoon highs reaching well in to the 80’s. A very shallow coastal marine layer kept much of our local beach communities under light fog with temperatures in the 60’s and low 70’s. Look for the fog to try and sneak a bit further inland overnight, but the atmosphere is very dry and any widespread fog reaching inland is not expected. For Sunday, the fog will play cat and mouse once again with expected temperatures with the thermal inversion keeping things interesting. Where the inversion weakens or disappears, coastal temperatures could warm a few degrees. For now, we will forecast a repeat of what we saw for our Saturday which was cool to mild beaches and toasty inland.
