WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Junior Madison Biddle’s three-run double highlighted a five-run fifth inning to propel UNCW to a Coastal Athletic Association softball series-clinching 8-2 win over visiting Charleston on a windy Saturday afternoon at Boseman Field.
The Seahawks (18-13, 6-2 CAA) claimed their second CAA series of the season and will go for the sweep of the Cougars (16-20, 7-4 CAA) in Sunday’s series finale at 1 p.m.
