(Atlantic) Authorities have released new details about a fatal crash that occurred during the March 15 blizzard in Cass County.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the multi-vehicle accident happened around 5:45 p.m. on westbound Interstate 80 near mile marker 59.
Officials say 54-year-old Amy Lynn Jurrens, of George, was a passenger in a 2023 Jeep involved in the crash. She was transported by Cass EMS to Cass Health, where she later died from her injuries. Authorities noted she was wearing a seat belt…
