LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Sixteen people are getting a fresh start, thanks to a partnership between Metro and the Eighth Judicial Court.
The LIMA program held a graduation ceremony for its most recent class of participants on Thursday. LIMA stands for Law Enforcement Intervention for Mental Health and Addiction. The program provides participants with access to housing, treatment, and job training.
The goal is to help break the cycle and keep low-level offenders from going back into the justice system…
