Boston Driver Killed In Crash On American Legion Highway

A late-night crash on one of Boston’s most notorious stretches of road left a driver dead Saturday, after a car went off American Legion Highway and was found heavily damaged near the 400 block, city police said. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the cause of the single-vehicle crash remains under investigation as emergency crews worked the area overnight, as per WHDH.

Boston police and fire crews responded around 11 p.m. to reports of a single-car crash near 400 American Legion Highway, according to WHDH. Responding officers found the vehicle off the roadway and severely damaged, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, the station reported. Police told WHDH the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
