A fire broke out around 6 a.m. Friday, March 28, inside the FDNY firehouse on Briggs Ave. near E. 200th St. in Bedford Park, trapping several firefighters on the second floor. Members of another company rescued them through a window.
Fourteen firefighters suffered minor injuries, and one was taken to Jacobi Hospital for observation.
