KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A firefighter who dedicated years of service to both the Winston-Salem and Kernersville fire departments has died.
Kernersville Fire Rescue announced the death of Chris Kiestler on Sunday. Kiestle served with the Winston-Salem Fire Department, where he rose to the rank of captain, before joining Kernersville Fire Rescue in October 2023. He served with Kernersville until March 2025.
