HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The ballrooms at the Westin Hotel were transformed into a sea of pink and orange decor today as hundreds gathered for the 6th Annual Women’s Expo. This year’s theme, “Be Bold,” served as a call to action for women across the Tennessee Valley to connect, collaborate, and build lasting legacies.
What is now a premier networking hub for the Southeast had humble beginnings. Founder Tiffany Draper launched the event in March 2021, at the height of the pandemic.
“That first one was just a way for people to sell their handcrafts,” Draper recalled. “We started with about 20 vendors. People were just looking to get out of the house… we were selling cakes and cookies and pies just to try to make ends meet during COVID.”…
