Grand Strand residents rally with gift cards to support unpaid TSA workers at MYR

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — As the partial government shutdown halts pay for TSA workers, community members along the grand strand are stepping in to help employees at Myrtle Beach International airport get through the financial strain.

Jeff Benton took to social media to advocate for the workers, asking residents to bring gift cards with a $25 limit to The Crazy Mason.

Benton said the gift cards will be split equally among 130 workers…
