According to officials, the online posts indicated the gathering would take place after school hours. Authorities and school leaders have emphasized that the event is not organized or sanctioned by the school district.

Pittsburgh Public Schools Issues Warning to Parents

Pittsburgh Public Schools notified parents earlier this week through a robocall, warning that the planned gathering is not a school-sponsored activity and that no official supervision would be provided.
