Illegal Pasco County Burn Triggers 10-Acre Fire, Destroys Multiple Structures

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A weekend brush fire in San Antonio has underscored the danger of current drought conditions as an emergency burn ban remains active across Pasco County.

On Saturday, March 28, Pasco County Fire Rescue (PCFR) crews were dispatched to a blaze on Tyndall Road that eventually consumed 10 acres of land.

The incident began when an illegal burn on a local property quickly grew out of control. As the flames spread through the dry brush, the fire reached several structures, completely destroying a number of derelict campers and mobile homes…
