TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said multiple people were hospitalized after a crash in Treasure Island on Saturday night.
The single-car crash happened at around 10 p.m. on March 28 near the intersection of 104th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard.

The sheriff’s office said Treasure Island police officers were attempting a traffic stop on the dark grey sedan, but the driver fled the scene.
Shortly after, the driver lost control of the car and struck a utility pole and a vacant building.
Photos and videos sent in by a viewer show the sedan badly damaged and with multiple airbags deployed.
