First Alert Forecast: freeze risk tonight, milder workweek ahead

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A cold front is bringing about significant changes to your First Alert Forecast for March’s final weekend. Behind the front, Saturday remains a First Alert Weather Day due to this afternoon’s elevated fire risk and a chance of a frost or freezing conditions overnight in portions of southeast North Carolina. A Freeze Warning is in effect early Sunday for: Pender, Bladen, Duplin, Onslow and Robeson counties. Today’s high dipped to 59 at ILM after topping out at 85 on Friday.
