AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation’s Amarillo District released its “Know Before You Go” report on lane closures for this week.
According to TxDOT, road closures and detours expected throughout this week include:
Monday,
- Drivers can expect the left lane of southbound I-27 at McCormick Road to be closed for patching operations.
- Drivers can expect the right lane of westbound I-40 at Bushland Road to be closed for patching operations.
Tuesday,
- Drivers can expect the right and center lanes of eastbound State Loop (SL) 335 at the BNSF railroad bridge, between Georgia and Washington streets, to be closed for patching operations.
Wednesday,
- The FM 3331/Hunsley Road bridge over US 60/87 in Canyon will be closed nightly for bridgework. The bridge will be closed starting Wednesday at 7 p.m. and re-open to traffic at 6 a.m. the following morning. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, April 10. Northbound traffic will be detoured to the frontage road during this time.
Throughout the Week
- Drivers can expect various lane closures in both directions of I-40 at the US 287 split for bridge maintenance.
