LUBBOCK, Texas — As of Sunday, March 29, the Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is currently investigating the intersection of 58th Street and Gary Avenue following a pursuit and collision.
At 12:38 am on March 29, a Lubbock Police officer observed a pickup driving recklessly in the 2700 block of 56th Street. The driver refused to stop when the officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, which prompted the officer to initiate a pursuit.
