A second suspect is behind bars following an investigation into a drug-laced meal delivered to a local home last December. Matthew Uthoff, 35, was arrested on March 26, 2026, joining 36-year-old Amber Snow in facing a litany of charges for what authorities describe as a targeted attempt to end a pregnancy using a contaminated pan of lasagna.
The case began on December 28, 2025, when the lasagna was delivered to a Cedar Rapids household. According to investigators, the dish was intentionally spiked with oxycodone.
