OWASSO, Okla. — Owasso VFW Post 7180 celebrated the groundbreaking of its new Vietnam memorial on Sunday, March 29, the National Vietnam War Veterans Day.
This event, led by the Owasso VFW, was held at Veterans Park on Sunday at 2 p.m.
“We are proud to partner with the Owasso VFW to provide this addition to our Veterans Park,” said City of Owasso’s Recreation and Culture Director Larry Langford. “This is a great opportunity for us to honor our Veterans in not only our community, but the surrounding areas. We invite everyone to come and visit the monument and pay their respect to those who sacrificed so much.”
