SIDNEY, Neb. — A new chapter is beginning for Sidney’s former Cabela’s campus, as the University of Nebraska-Lincoln announced plans Friday to establish a Panhandle presence in the facility.
Congressman Paul Strommen announced Friday in a press conference the university will be using one of the Cabela’s corporate buildings to open a campus in the Panhandle of Nebraska.
“We’ve got some important news here in Sidney, Neb., regarding the Cabela’s buildings. The campus that put Sidney on the map is getting a new chapter. The University of Nebraska has entered a landmark partnership with 59 Properties, LLC.,” Strommen said from the building…
