Dry air is forecasted near the ground on Sunday, which will bring the chance for dry thunderstorms in western New Mexico. Light rain to sprinkles are also possible tomorrow as moisture streams into the state. That moisture will linger through the middle of next week, bringing additional precipitation chances. Dry thunderstorms and light rain are also forecasted for Monday. A Pacific Cold Front will move in from the west, bringing another surge of moisture on Wednesday.

Winds are expected to pick up on Saturday once again in eastern New Mexico, where gusts may range from 20-35 mph or higher. Winds will be slightly breezy on Sunday throughout New Mexico before upper-level winds increase throughout the first half of the week. The aforementioned Pacific cold front will bring breezy to windy weather along with it before drier air moves into the Land of Enchantment on Thursday and Friday. Have a great weekend!…
