Next chance of rain is on the horizon for New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The next chance of rain is on the horizon for New Mexico after a quieter and warmer Sunday.

Albuquerque was forecast for a high temperature of around 81 degrees with not too much wind. As a result, the fire weather watch for northeastern New Mexico will go into effect Monday afternoon, instead.

Temperatures will stay the same Monday and Tuesday. There is a small chance for a light shower or a dry thunderstorm in the southwestern part of the state, however…
