A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer was placed on unpaid leave after being charged with assault on a female and misdemeanor domestic violence.
The department identified the officer as Ryan T. Clement, who was hired on May 28, 2024, and is currently assigned to CMPD’s Metro Division.
