A freeway shooting shut down I-96 near Telegraph on Sunday as police investigated.
We are told the shooting appears to have stemmed from a road rage situation. The freeway was closed while crews work the scene.
2nd shooting in less than 24 hour
In a separate and unrelated incident Saturday, a 33-year-old man told police he was shot while driving on the eastbound I-96 local lanes west of the Southfield Freeway.
He told investigators he was in the center lane when a black sedan approached from behind in the right lane, pulled alongside him, and fired a single shot. The man drove himself to the hospital, where troopers met him and began their investigation.…
