The annual YMCA Short Course Nationals will take place at the Greensboro Aquatic Center next week, and several big names will be in attendance. Highlighting the psych sheets are the Dickinson sisters, Maggie Dickinson and Anne Dickinson of YMCA of Metro Milwaukee.
The 16 year old Maggie Dickinson is the top seed in four events. She is entered with a 1:53.40 200 backstroke making her the top seed by over three seconds. That is the time she won the event in a year ago. She also is entered with a 52.56 100 back, 22.65 50 free, and a 49.32 100 free. In addition to her 200 back win last year, she also won the 50 and 100 frees as well as finished 2nd in the 100 back.
Older sister Anne Dickinson is the top seed in three events. Anne, an Indiana commit for this fall, won the 200 free last year and is the top seed in the 200 free (1:47.60), 500 free (4:42.89), and 1000 free (9:47.78). The sisters are the top two seeds in the 100 free as Anne is entered with a 50.42…
