MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Hundreds of people are taking stock of the running times after the 48th Azalea Trail Run. The event brought together people from around the region.
Roughly 2,600 people flooded downtown streets Saturday for the start of the Azalea Trail Run. It’s an event that goes back decades, and for some people, the love of running starts early.
“The school program, for example, is something we instituted years ago, and so we get the school kids involved in it. The parents are coming out here with the school kids. They’re going to run as well,” Course Marshal Mike Thompson said…
