Harmony Indian Cuisine, barely two weeks old, sits tucked away in the corner of the Maplewood plaza of Coral Springs by the Coral Square Mall. In my opinion, it’s now the finest sit-down Indian restaurant for miles.
I used the qualifier “sit-down” restaurant because I’m sure people have strong opinions about Arun’s Indian Kitchen, which is also fantastic, but it isn’t the full dine-in experience with waitstaff. Harmony has quite a delayed journey to be here. It’s a family-owned restaurant, bought back in December 2024. They ran into numerous permitting issues due to the type of tandoor oven required to cook Indian naan bread and the fires it generates.
But it was definitely worth the wait. Inside, the remodeling is refreshingly contemporary. Hanging plants. Soft warm lights. New upholstery. Wood lattices and blues and greens…
