The Weaverville Tree Board will meet on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall (30 S. Main Street) to finalize plans for the town’s annual Arbor Day Celebration.
The celebration takes place on Thursday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Lake Louise Park, on the knoll across from the waterwheel, with activities continuing at the Weaverville Community Center. The event will include a tree planting by Public Works, storytelling by Jill Totman, and recognition of student art and poetry contest winners from North Buncombe schools.
