United Noodles: A Hidden Gem Asian Grocery Store in Minneapolis

Some places are so good that one visit just isn’t enough—and United Noodles is one of them.

United Noodles is an Asian Market and Grocery Store with locations in Minneapolis and Woodbury. After visiting the Minneapolis location a few months ago with my teens (and immediately calling it a hidden gem), I knew we’d be back. Our second visit confirmed it: this isn’t just a grocery store—it’s a place to explore, discover, and try something new every time you walk in.

It’s a bit tucked away near Hiawatha Avenue and looks like a warehouse when you drive up to it. From the outside, you’d never guess how big this family-owned Asian grocery store is. But inside? It’s aisle after aisle of noodles, sauces, snacks, frozen foods, and ingredients from across Asia and beyond. It’s easy to spend way more time here than you planned—in the best way.

A Go-To Spot for Trying New Foods

What really stands out at United Noodles is the variety. Whether you’re going in with a list or just browsing, there’s always something new to discover.

There’s a huge selection of instant noodles, snacks, and drinks, plus shelves full of pantry staples and spices. If you’re looking for a specific Asian sauce or dry ingredient, this is such a great place to check first—I found fresh sweet potato noodles which I love!

So Much More Than Just Groceries

One thing I really appreciated on our visits was just how much is packed into this one store…
