RENO COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) – A woman accused of pointing a rifle at Hutchinson police officers died from her injuries at a Wichita hospital after one of those officers shot her, the KBI confirmed. Following the shooting, the KBI confirmed that “a pellet rifle was recovered at the scene.”
The state agency is investigating the officer-involved shooting that happened Sunday night in Hutchinson.
