AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — 7 Star Horse Therapy offers equine-assisted therapy to provide an alternative to families who need the therapy for either mental, physical, or emotional needs.
“It’s a really great thing to have. It’s an emotional support. It’s also the children who don’t have that much confidence. It helps them build that confidence. It’s a steady pace of security. Plus, they get to self-reflect. And that’s what the horse does. The horse reflects the person,” added Michelle Floyd, 7 Star Horse Therapy Facility Administrator.
Deidra Bagey, Volunteer Coordinator for 7 Star Horse Therapy, said that over time, they see clients become more confident in themselves.
