A Nampa man was arrested early Saturday morning after police say he fired multiple rounds from his apartment, prompting an evacuation and police response.
According to the Nampa Police Department (NPD), dispatchers received a call around 3:40 a.m. from a resident in the 2200 block of South Lexi’s Lane reporting “big pops” heard several times over about 30 minutes. Officers responded to the area and found a man standing near a sliding glass door while holding a shotgun.
The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Alexander βAlexβ Rafeal Garza of Nampa, had prior contact with police. According to police, attempts to contact Garza by phone were unsuccessful and their calls were sent directly to voicemail…
