A tense neighbourhood dispute in Colorado Springs has led to the arrest of a man accused of making threats and damaging property, according to police.

What Happened

Police say the incident took place on March 24 at a home on Bellcove Circle. A resident called 911 around 3:15 p.m., reporting that their neighbour had made serious threats and damaged parts of their property. The caller also claimed to have video evidence of the incident.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the suspect, identified as Alex Muller, allegedly made disturbing statements about harming children. While there were slight differences in how the threat was reported, authorities said the meaning was clearly serious and concerning.

Ongoing Dispute Between Neighbours

Homeowners told officials that the conflict with the neighbour had been going on for a long time and had been getting worse. Due to the ongoing issues, the family has even put their house up for sale.

Police also said Muller was already under a protection order related to a previous domestic violence case, which he is accused of violating during this incident.
