ANN ARBOR, MI – An Ann Arbor dog with a remarkable rescue story is competing in the finals of a national contest, and her owner is rallying the community for support.
Gracie, a Hurricane Harvey rescue dog, has advanced to the finals of the Pet Lovers Choice Awards in the Cutest Dog category, currently ranking sixth place nationally. Voting for the competition closes April 5 at 10 p.m., with awards scheduled for June.
The dog was rescued from Houston nearly nine years ago during Hurricane Harvey and adopted through Heavenly Paws of Michigan, a local rescue organization. Her owner, Mary Kosinski of Ann Arbor, is seeking votes to help Gracie win the national competition…
