Woman charged after stabbing in Uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 28-year-old woman is behind bars after she was accused of stabbing another woman at an Uptown apartment complex court records show.

The incident happened along West Trade Street, near North Irwin Avenue, around 3 a,m. Sunday, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police report. The victim told police Keresa Walker stabbed her in the head. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following the incident.
