Fire crews responded to the 3300 block of Adkins Road in Lookout Valley around 12:28 PM on March 29 after a shed collapsed behind a home. A man who had been taking apart the structure was trapped under heavy beams. Firefighters from Squad 20, Engine 3, Squad 1, Squad 13, and Battalion 1 quickly freed him, and he was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
