CHATTANOOGA, TENN. – Earlier this month, the Chaplain of the Tomahawk Area Veterans Honor Guard traveled to Tennessee to attend the memorial service for a former armed forces member who had recently passed away.
The Honor Guard said Chaplain Jeannette Fehr’s sister, Jackie Gardner, a Chattanooga resident, in Dec. 2025 informed Fehr that Lt. Phil Skovronski, a former U.S. Navy pilot and Kenosha native, was on hospice care. “Lt. Skee,” as he was affectionately known, died in March, and he had no known surviving family.
Lt. Skee’s friends, “the Panera Bread breakfast family,” felt he deserved a proper memorial service to honor his time and sacrifice to the country he loved, the Honor Guard explained…
