Gainesville man arrested after placing tracking device on victim’s car

A Gainesville man was arrested on Saturday, Mar. 28, after authorities say he admitted to placing a tracking device on a female victim’s vehicle.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said Bernandino Gonzalez-Oregon, 38, is being held in the Hall County Jail on an aggravated stalking charge.

Gonzalez-Oregon was previously arrested on Feb. 1 on a charge of simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA) involving the same victim.
