(WJET/WFXP) — Firefighters from two Erie County departments were called to help after a house fire in Ashtabula County, Ohio, spread and involved the home fully Sunday night.
Calls for the fire in Monroe Township in the 6900 Hatches Corner Road went out around 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, with the house initially being described as “pretty well involved,” triggering crews from the surrounding area to be called to the scene.
Once they arrived, the two-story house was fully involved, and crews from the Springfield and Cranesville Volunteer Fire Departments were called in to assist at 9:10 pm as firefighters switched to a defensive approach…
