GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A truck driver has been arrested after driving erratically on the Mackinac Bridge and carrying illegal weapons.
Michigan State Police say a motor carrier officer stopped the truck shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday while doing a “proactive patrol” at the bridge. The truck driver was hauling a trailer and was “observed speeding and operating in a hazardous manner.”
During the traffic stop, the officer found the driver had two open containers of alcohol, wide variety of weapons and an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident…
