MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A high-speed pursuit on U.S. 1 ended with an 18-year-old behind bars on Sunday night after he allegedly attempted to outrun deputies in his luxury sedan. Kevin Raventos, a resident of Miami, was arrested on March 29, 2026, following a sequence of events that began near Mile Marker 83.
The situation unfolded around 9:33 p.m. when deputies with the Sheriff’s Office spotted a BMW sedan traveling at a high rate of speed.
