Former Hardin Valley student arrested after entering multiple Knox County school buildings

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A former Hardin Valley student is facing charges after authorities say he entered multiple Knox County school buildings without following security protocols earlier this month.

According to court documents, 20-year-old Zain Madadali went onto the Hardin Valley campus on March 16 and attempted to enter the elementary, middle and high schools.

An affidavit states Madadali was initially buzzed into Hardin Valley Academy by the front office and walked around the building for about an hour while carrying a black bag.

Investigators say he then went to the middle school and asked to be let in to speak with teachers, but staff denied him entry. He used the front office restroom before he left the building, documents show…
