Bruegger’s Bagels closes in East Lansing; New restaurant planned

EAST LANSING – Breakfast chain Bruegger’s Bagels has closed its storefront along East Grand River Avenue.

The space will reopen by this summer as Einstein Bros. Bagels, part of a rebranding by the company that owns both restaurants. Panera Brands is transitioning all of Michigan’s Bruegger’s Bagels locations to Einstein Bros. Bagels by this summer, according to a news release.
