Woman charged in connection with deadly hit-and-run that killed Theodore woman, court documents show

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A Mobile woman is charged in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a Theodore woman, court documents reveal.

Jail records show 40-year-old Jennifer Howell is now charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury.

Court documents say, “On or about March 21, 2026, being the driver of a motor vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury or the death of Amanada Godwin, did not immediately stop such vehicle and remain at the scene.”
